Fields PSSA Girls Basketball Carnival
🏀 What an incredible tournament for our Fields Girls Basketball Team! 🏀
Made up of a largely inexperienced group of players, the girls showed outstanding determination, teamwork, and growth throughout the entire competition.
Although we lost our opening game 26–10, the team never gave up. The girls were still finding their rhythm and learning to play together, but once they settled in, they became unstoppable, recording three fantastic wins:
🏀 Landowne – 26–14
🏀 Campbelltown – 29–8
🏀 Razorbacks – 14–4
These impressive victories secured the girls a well-earned place in the semi-finals.
The team came out firing in the first half against a very experienced Liverpool side. Despite their best efforts and incredible determination, the girls went down 28–8.
We are so proud of this group of girls. Their teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship, and constant encouragement of one another throughout the day was outstanding. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow with every game, and we hope to see them all back at trials next year! 💙💛
